• FRAME The geometry of the PILOT frame allows a quick and easy installation on most sedans. The low profile frame makes it easier to load the bikes. Solidly built of steel and high impact resistant plastic materials. The geometry keeps the bikes away from the car.
• QUICK INSTALLATION: Using the plastic hubs, you can adjust, fold or unfold the rack in no time.
• LOCKING CLAMPS: The clamps are big enough to fit most bike frames. Made of reinforced Nylon, the clamps are highly resistant. An integrated pad prevents scratching the bike paint and allow most brakes cables to go through. Each clamp is equipped with a locking knob.
• WHEEL SUPPORTS: The wheel holders will accommodate all wheelbases, even very small children’s bikes. The straps allow a secure attachment of the wheels and the pads protect the rims. The straps are long enough to hold the biggest rims.
• SAFETY: The product is supplied with an additional safety strap that allows to secure the bike.
• HOOKS: All the hooks have a protective coating that prevent them from damaging the car paint.
• SIZE: If you don’t carry any bike, you can always fold the platform which might be convenient for parking.

Please note that you cannot use rear fixing carriers on cars with rear spoilers.

Important fitting information: You must either disable or not use the rear windscreen wiper when this bike carrier is mounted.

Important fitting information: The bikes will obscure the lights on the back of this vehicle so you might also need a lighting board  when using a boot mounting rack on this car. You will need to have a socket fitted for the lighting board to plug into. Depending on the position of your number plate you may also need a replacement number plate if this is also obscured.

Important fitting information: If your vehicle is equipped with an automatic tailgate opening system, make sure you can disable this function when using the bike carrier,
and open the tailgate manually or you will not be able to use our product.
